Service crash via recursive sitemap entity expansion

XML entity expansion in LlamaIndex 0.12.21 allows remote attackers to exhaust process memory and crash sitemap-consuming services. SitemapReader._parse_sitemap passes attacker-controlled sitemap XML to xml.etree.ElementTree.fromstring, which expands recursive DTD entities without a resource limit. Exploitation requires an application to fetch or accept an attacker-controlled sitemap; processing it can exhaust memory and terminate the hosting process.
