Settings changes via missing AJAX nonce validation
Published Apr 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in CleverReach Official CleverReach Plugin for WooCommerce 3.4.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings. The plugin's custom AJAX handlers accept state-changing requests without validating WordPress nonces, so forged requests run under an administrator's session. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or page; the reported consequence is limited to unauthorized configuration changes.
