Administrator database disclosure via unprepared SQL query
Published Apr 10, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
SQL injection in Aaron Frey's Nearby Locations 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data. The affected query insufficiently escapes a user-supplied parameter and executes it without adequate prepared-statement handling; public sources do not identify the parameter or code locus. Administrator-level access is required, and successful exploitation reads sensitive database information without a reported ability to modify it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
