Incorrect default permissions in Intel Arc B-Series GPU B570 and B580 firmware allow local users with privileged access to escalate privileges. Intel identifies the locus only as firmware used within Ring 1 device drivers and has not disclosed which object's permissions are incorrect or how they are abused. Exploitation requires privileged local system-software access and special internal knowledge, needs no user interaction, and compromises system data and operation.
