CVE-2025-32054

Source-code disclosure via idea.log logging

Published Apr 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025

Sensitive information exposure in JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2024.3 or 2024.2.4 allows local users to read source code from idea.log. The IDE writes project source text into its local diagnostic log instead of excluding sensitive code from logging. A local low-privileged account must access the IDE user's log files; the published impact is limited to source-code confidentiality.
