Hidden-grade disclosure via missing report capability checks
Published Apr 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Missing authorization in affected Moodle LMS releases allows remote attackers to read hidden grades through grade reports. The single-view report failed to enforce moodle/grade:viewhidden before rendering grade data, while user-report styling exposed hidden-item status. A reachable report containing hidden grades is required; the reported consequence is grade confidentiality loss only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
