CVE-2025-32016

Credential disclosure via unredacted service logging

Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 9, 2025

Sensitive-data exposure in Microsoft Identity Web before 3.8.2 allows local users to read client secrets and certificate details from service logs. Credential-description logging writes client secrets, Base64 certificate data, and password-bearing certificate paths without redacting sensitive fields. Exposure requires affected credential sources and either information-level logging or an invalid or expired certificate, plus access to logs that are not securely restricted.
