Unauthenticated service interruption via out-of-bounds write
Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Intel AMT and Intel Standard Manageability firmware allows remote attackers to cause a service interrupt. Intel identifies the affected locus only as Ring 3 user applications and has not disclosed the operation or input that writes beyond the destination buffer. The management interface must be network-reachable, but no authentication, user interaction, special internal knowledge, or additional attack requirement is needed; exploitation interrupts the vulnerable system and causes a lesser subsequent availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
Labels summarize the accepted research assessment. They do not indicate a test against your environment.
