CVE-2025-31992Network attack vector

Authenticated session content injection via unneutralized HTML characters

Published Oct 12, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

HTML injection in HCL Software MaxAI Assistant 12.1.10 through 25.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject markup into a user session. The affected input path fails to neutralize script-related HTML characters before client-side processing, but HCL has not disclosed the responsible endpoint or code locus. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction, and the crafted content is processed in the affected user session.
