Unrestricted file upload in HCL BigFix Service Management 23 allows remote authenticated users to upload dangerous files over the network. The upload path fails to enforce file-type restrictions, accepting scripts, executables, or web shells that validation should reject. A valid low-privilege account is required, and accepted files can expose or alter application data; public sources do not establish server-side execution.
