Authentication bypass in HCL BigFix IVR 4.2 allows local users to alter administrative configuration through its setup interface. The local setup interface accepts administrative configuration requests without authenticating them or requiring an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires local access, high privileges, and user interaction; the reported consequence is limited to unauthorized configuration changes.
