Stored script injection via missing nonce validation
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in QuanticaLabs Accordions for WordPress 3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store malicious scripts. A settings-update function accepts forged administrator requests without valid nonce verification and stores attacker-supplied script content. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to open an attacker-controlled link, after which the stored script executes in affected pages.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
