Stored XSS via forged administrator settings request
Published Apr 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in JSON Structuring Markup 0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts through settings. Public records identify missing or incorrect nonce validation in an unnamed settings-handling function but do not disclose the exact function or parameter. Exploitation requires tricking a logged-in site administrator into opening a link or page that submits the forged request; the resulting script executes when the stored output is viewed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
