CVE-2025-31700Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via crafted network packets

Published Jul 23, 2025 · Updated Jul 23, 2025

Buffer overflow in Dahua IPC and SD camera firmware built before April 16, 2025 allows remote attackers to crash devices or execute code. Dahua has not disclosed the affected packet protocol, parser, buffer, or missing bounds check beyond stating that crafted malicious packets trigger the overflow. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation has high complexity; ASLR reduces code-execution reliability while device crashes remain feasible.
