XSS via unsanitized link attributes
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Drupal Formatter Suite before 2.1.0 allows attackers to inject script through crafted Link field attributes. The custom link formatter relies on Drupal core handling that does not sufficiently sanitize attacker-controlled link element attributes before page generation. Exploitation requires the ability to add those attributes, typically through core web services or custom code, and executes script in a viewing user's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
