CVE-2025-31693Network attack vector

Arbitrary file deletion via deserialization gadget chain

Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025

PHP object injection in Drupal AI (Artificial Intelligence) before 1.0.5 allows attackers to delete files via optional AI Automator Types. These types supply a gadget chain that acts on files when PHP unserializes attacker-controlled data, although Drupal does not identify the involved classes or methods. Exploitation requires the optional AI Automators submodule and a separate flaw that passes unsafe input to unserialize; the issue is not directly exploitable, while a viable chain can reach code execution.
