Authentication bypass via ignored server status
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
Missing authorization in Drupal OAuth2 Server before 2.1.0 allows remote attackers to authenticate through a disabled server. The module authentication path fails to honor the configured status of the selected server entity, so disabling that server does not prevent authentication processing. Exploitation requires a configured server that an administrator has disabled; the resulting access is limited to resources available to the authenticated identity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
