Authenticated code execution via filename filter bypass
Published Apr 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in ProjeQtOr 12.0.0 through 12.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side PHP code. The /tool/saveAttachment.php handler writes attachmentFiles entries after filename filtering that can be bypassed with a semicolon or, on Windows, a trailing dot. Exploitation requires a valid session and an attachment directory exposed to the web; commands run with the web server process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
