Root command execution via save file parameter

Command injection in F5 BIG-IP allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to execute system commands as root. The save command accepts shell syntax in its file parameter and evaluates it as operating-system command input. Exploitation requires Appliance mode and access to iControl REST under /mgmt or the SSH tmsh shell, crossing the mode's boundary against Advanced Shell commands.
