Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped input
Published Apr 1, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Vimal Kava Open AI Search Bar 2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts into pages through unauthenticated input. Public advisories attribute the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but do not identify the affected parameter or handler. A user must visit an injected page for the stored script to execute in that user's browser, enabling page-content modification or data access within that origin.
