Authenticated SSRF via arbitrary preview URLs
Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Kishan WP Link Preview 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reach arbitrary URLs. The preview-generation path accepts a user-supplied URL and makes the WordPress server fetch it without restricting destinations; public sources do not identify the responsible function or request API. Contributor-level access is required, and the resulting requests can query or modify information exposed by internal services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
