Unauthenticated script injection via unchecked tab parameter
Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026
Cross-site scripting in affected LemonLDAP::NG portal releases before 2.21.0 allows remote attackers to inject web content through the tab parameter. Main::Display copies the request's tab value into DISPLAY_TAB without verifying that it matches a key in the Choice authentication loop, so the login template reflects attacker-controlled markup. Reachability requires Choice authentication; injected HTML, iframes, or JavaScript render in the login page, while CSP settings determine whether script execution succeeds.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2.0.8 <2.16.5
