Unauthenticated entity disclosure via Relay node queries
Published Apr 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Incorrect authorization in API Platform Core allows remote attackers to read protected entities through GraphQL Relay node queries. ResolverFactory substitutes an empty Query operation for Relay node requests, so the configured operation security expression is never evaluated. The API must expose GraphQL's default node field and protect an entity with the security attribute; the bypass discloses that entity without authentication.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
