Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized visitor fields
Published Apr 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 6, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Apartment Visitor Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The visitor-entry.php handler incorporates the visname and address POST fields into database statements without safely separating input from SQL syntax. Low-privileged application access is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates attacker-controlled query execution through a five-second database delay.
