Unauthenticated device actions via unchecked scene ownership
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Authorization bypass in Growatt Cloud Portal 3.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger other users' scene-linked device actions. The portal accepts a scene identifier that selects another user's scene without enforcing ownership, although CISA has not identified the affected API endpoint or parameter. No account or user interaction is required, and the resulting commands can change device state or interrupt device operation.
