CVE-2025-31342Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unrestricted file upload

Published Oct 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 20, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Vitals ESP Forum Module through 1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands. The module's upload file function fails to restrict dangerous file types, allowing malicious uploaded content to reach server-side execution. Valid application authentication and remote network access are required; the bounded consequence is command execution on the hosting system.
