CVE-2025-3129Network attack vector

Account access via unrestricted code guessing

Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Authentication bypass in Drupal Access code before 2.0.4 allows remote attackers to gain account access by brute-forcing short access codes. The access-code login routes accept repeated code guesses without flood control or another effective limit on failed authentication attempts. Access-code login is disabled by default and exposure is limited to accounts for which it has been enabled; a correct guess authenticates as that account.
