CVE-2025-3128Network attack vector

Arbitrary command execution via API command injection

Published Aug 21, 2025 · Updated Aug 22, 2025

OS command injection in Mitsubishi Electric smartRTU 3.37 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through an API route. The route passes attacker-controlled input to an OS command without neutralizing command elements; Mitsubishi Electric has not disclosed the route or parameter. Exploitation requires bypassing authentication and grants command execution that can read, alter, destroy, or delete information or interrupt the service.
