Improper authentication in FaceTime on Apple macOS before 26 allows remote attackers' incoming calls to appear or be accepted while locked. Apple identifies deficient state management but has not disclosed the responsible function or the state transition that fails to enforce the lock-screen policy. The Mac must be locked with lock-screen notifications disabled; the bounded result is unintended call display or acceptance, not a general desktop unlock.
