Published May 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Denial of service in Pro Res in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS allows local users to terminate the system through an app. Apple states only that improved checks addressed the issue and has not disclosed the Pro Res code path, input, or failed validation that permits termination. Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
