CVE-2025-3123Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unvalidated module archive

Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025

Unrestricted upload in WonderCMS 3.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through theme or plugin installation. The installUpdateModuleAction function downloads a user-supplied ZIP archive and extracts its files into a web-accessible module directory without validating the archive contents. Exploitation requires an administrator to supply the custom module URL and password, so the vendor disputes treating deliberate installation of untrusted code as a vulnerability.
