Information disclosure in Apple Weather on macOS and iPadOS allows local users to read sensitive location data through a malicious app. Apple states that sensitive data was removed but does not disclose where the location data was exposed or which operation returned it. The attacker must execute an app locally with low privileges; affected releases precede iPadOS 17.7.7 and macOS Ventura 13.7.6, Sonoma 14.7.6, or Sequoia 15.5.
