Physical override of managed Wi-Fi profiles
Published Nov 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 21, 2025
Improper access control in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 18.5 and iPadOS before 17.7.7 allows attackers to override managed Wi-Fi profiles. Apple states only that improved checks addressed the issue and has not disclosed which Wi-Fi profile-management check accepts the unauthorized physical action. Physical possession of an affected iPhone or iPad is required, and the bounded consequence is modification of administrator-managed Wi-Fi settings.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
