Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized ID parameter
Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 6, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Tutor Portal 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the ID parameter. The manage_course.php endpoint incorporates the ID value into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, as demonstrated by a time-delay subquery. Tutor access is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates query control and a five-second database delay, not operating-system command execution.
