Local process crash via excessive dash length

Divide by zero in Xfig fig2dev 3.2.9a allows local users to crash a conversion process via a crafted FIG file. During pict2e output, get_slope processes an unchecked patterned-line style value; an excessive dash length permits arithmetic to reach a zero divisor and raise a floating-point exception. The attacker must be able to supply a FIG file for local conversion; the demonstrated consequence is termination of that fig2dev process, not a persistent system outage.
