CVE-2025-3115Network attack vector

Arbitrary code execution via function and file injection

Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025

Code injection in Spotfire Data Functions allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through crafted functions or uploads. Data Function processing executes attacker-supplied code, while upload handling insufficiently validates filenames and permits malicious files to execute. Network access and a low-privileged account are required; exploitation grants control of the function execution environment.
