CVE-2025-31118Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated forum disruption via unrestricted quick replies

Published Apr 18, 2025 · Updated Apr 18, 2025

Uncontrolled resource consumption in NamelessMC Nameless 2.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disrupt forum operations. The quick-reply handler in modules/Forum/pages/forum/view_topic.php accepts repeated reply submissions without the 30-second spam check used by new-topic posting. Any account allowed to reply can flood threads with posts, degrade forum usability, and overload the backing database.
