Unauthenticated reflected script execution
Published Mar 28, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Bob Hostel 1.1.5.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a privileged user's browser via a crafted link. Patchstack attributes the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but does not identify the affected parameter, request handler, or rendering path. Exploitation requires a privileged user to open the attacker-controlled link or otherwise submit the crafted request, exposing that browser session to script actions in the affected page's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
