Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via path traversal
Published May 23, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Path traversal in QuantumCloud KBx Pro Ultimate before 8.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to delete server files. The plugin file-deletion path accepts an insufficiently validated file path, permitting traversal outside the intended directory. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; deletion of WordPress core or configuration files interrupts the site and enables remote code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
