CVE-2025-3105Network attack vector

Subscriber-to-Administrator escalation via unvalidated user meta updates

Published Apr 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Privilege escalation in TangibleWP Vehica Core 1.0.97 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain Administrator access. The user-meta update logic insufficiently validates attacker-controlled fields before writing them to the WordPress database, allowing privilege-bearing metadata to be changed. Subscriber-level access is required; successful exploitation grants Administrator control over the affected WordPress site.
