Database disclosure via unescaped statistics parameters
Published Mar 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in Tribulant Software Newsletters 4.9.9.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data via crafted URL parameters. The ajax_welcomestats function in wp-mailinglist-plugin.php concatenates the history_id, from, and to values into a database condition without validation, escaping, or a prepared query. Administrator access and a valid action nonce are required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of database names, versions, and queryable contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
