Credential exposure in four Canon printer series allows remote authenticated users with administrator rights to steal service credentials. Canon identifies the mechanism only as passback and does not disclose the affected interface or exact operation that releases configured credentials. Exploitation requires product administrator privileges and exposes authentication information for configured SMTP or LDAP connections, without reported device-code execution or service interruption.
