Published Apr 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Muffin Group BeTheme 28.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through crafted page content. The Button shortcode and Custom CSS field store user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and render them without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
