Unauthorized data modification via Scripting APIs
Published Jul 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Scripting flaw in Oracle Java SE 8u451, 8u451-perf, and 11.0.27 and GraalVM Enterprise Edition 21.3.14 allows remote attackers to modify data. Oracle identifies Scripting APIs receiving supplied data as the path but has not published the faulty operation or code locus. Exploitation requires a difficult-to-create condition in a service passing untrusted data to those APIs or a sandboxed client loading untrusted code; impact is limited to unauthorized data creation, deletion, or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
