Stored script execution via unescaped button text
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Elementor Pro 3.29.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted button text. The button_text rendering path stores insufficiently sanitized input and emits it without context-appropriate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to inject the content, and the script runs in the browser of any user who accesses the injected page.
