CVE-2025-3071Network attack vector

Same-origin policy bypass via crafted navigation

Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 10, 2025

Origin validation error in Google Chrome before 135.0.7049.52 allows remote attackers to bypass the same-origin policy via crafted HTML. The Navigations component incorrectly enforces origin separation during crafted-page navigation, but the restricted issue does not disclose the faulty check. Exploitation requires a user to perform specific UI gestures on the attacker-controlled page, after which origin-isolated data or actions can cross the browser boundary.
