Authenticated data modification and service interruption
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Improper access control in Oracle MySQL Server and MySQL Cluster allows remote authenticated users to alter data or crash services. Oracle identifies InnoDB and Cluster General as the respective loci but has not published the flawed operation or attacker-controlled input. High-privileged network access is required; successful attacks can update, insert, or delete some accessible data and cause a hang or repeatable crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.0.0 <=8.0.41
- Affected versionversion=8.4.0 <=8.4.4
- Affected versionversion=9.0.0 <=9.2.0
