Data read and modification via undisclosed compiler flaw
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Improper access control in the Compiler component of Oracle Java SE 21.0.6 and 24 allows remote attackers to read and modify data. Oracle has not disclosed the compiler locus or the operation that mishandles untrusted input. Exploitation requires a high-complexity path through Compiler APIs, such as a web service supplying data, or untrusted code running in a sandboxed Java deployment.
