CVE-2025-30675Network attack vector

Cross-domain metadata disclosure via ROOT fallback

Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 11, 2025

Improper access control in Apache CloudStack 4.0.0 through 4.19.2.0 and 4.20.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to read template and ISO metadata. The listTemplates and listIsos APIs resolve a supplied domainid to the ROOT domain for self or selfexecutable filters instead of enforcing the caller's domain scope. Domain Admin or Resource Admin access is required, and the result is cross-domain metadata disclosure rather than access to template or ISO contents.
