CVE-2025-30654

Hashed-password disclosure via underprivileged show mgd command

Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 9, 2025

Sensitive information exposure in Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows local users with low-privilege CLI access to read hashed passwords. A specific show mgd command returns protected management data without enforcing the caller's limited login-class permissions; the exact subcommand is undisclosed. An authenticated CLI account with only limited permissions is sufficient, and the disclosed password hashes can support further compromise.
